Pastoral Ministry »
 [ to read more click here and click again to close ]This ministry involves the Pastor and His assistant. The two plan the day to day administration of the church. They also take turns to visit members in their homes and pray with them as well as encouraging them with the word of God. Testimony from The PastorI am giving this testimony to the fact that God is such an awesome and merciful God. I remember back in Minnesota, there was this young woman that I went to fellowship with in the word of God and Prayer. On one such visits, the convicting power of the Holy Spirit was so strong on her that she told me she has been using illicit drugs. She brought the drugs and threw it into the dumpster. Her sister who up until that time has not shown any interest in our fellowship decided together with her to give her life to Christ. So both of them became born again that day. It was glorious. It is the ministry that people come to when they have a problem or difficulty confronting them in their lives. This ministry seeks to assist couples having problems in their marriages, young people seeking guidance and counselling in a particular area of academic discipline.  [ to read more click here and click again to close ]Prayer and Intercession is the life line of the ministry. It is the engine of growth of the church. It is open to all who have a desire to pray. They meet every Friday to pray for the church and also for the Pastor and his work. They also give out fliers and leaflets where people write their prayer request and post it back to them so that they can pray for them. They pray mostly for the church, the country, church members and for those involved in missions. Account Department »

It is also responsible for the allocation of funds to all the various ministries within the church which needs regular funding from time to time to keep them functioning and operating properly. The ministry render proper account to the Pastoral board of which the Pastor is the President to let them know how the church funds is being used. Music Ministry »
 [ to read more click here and click again to close ]Music was originated by the Lord to be utilized in worship and it is one of the worship orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. God design the music in three parts; rhythm, melody and harmony and if anyone of these is perverted, the Holy Spirit will not function. God is still moving but He is not moving in a whole lot of churches which falls into the column of distorted melody, harmony or rhythm. The spiritual temperature of church can be measured by the music. Believers must be very careful, based on the type of music he or she sings, listens to and enjoy. Primarily, this kind is a barometer of ones spiritual condition. Our music doesn't draw anyone to Christ. It is the Spirit of God which draw people to Christ and nothing else. Satan has broad understanding of music, knows its importance to the worship of the Lord and has done all he could to pervert it. Regretably, he has achieved in most churches with Rock and Roll music. Psalm 150:5-6 "Praise Him upon the loud cymbals, praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals, let everything that has breathe praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord". This emphasize the strong desire of the Holy Spirit that believers should praise and worship the Lord with singing, accompanied by musical instruments. Paul also emphasized on this in the New Testament; He said, 'speaking of one another in psalms and hymes and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord'.
