Tenets of Faith
We Believe...
The Scriptures:- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We accept it as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to doctrine (1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Tim. 3:16)
One God:- Our God is one, but manifested in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)
The Fall and The Redemption of Man:- Man made in the likeness and the image of God. Man sinned and Jesus Christ was manifested to shed His precious blood to redeem and restore man back to God.
Sanctification:- The Bible teaches that God is Holy, therefore we should be holy. We believe in the progressive work of grace (1 Cor. 1:30)
The Baptism of The Holy Ghost:- The baptism of the Holy Ghost fire is for all believers who ask for it according to Acts 2:4, with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives the utterance. (Matt. 3:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 19:1-7, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:38)
Water Baptism:- Is a commandment of our Lord and merely for believers, this ordinance typified believers identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19, Rom. 6:4)
Divine Healing:- Is for the physical and spiritual healing of the human body. It is bestowed through the power of God, prayer of faith, gift of healing and through the laying on of hands. Healing is in the cross of Christ. (1 Pet. 2:24)
